Andrew Higginson joins as a senior adviser
Shore Capital, is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Higginson as a senior adviser to the business.
Mr. Higginson is an experienced and distinguished executive with many years operating at senior levels in successful British companies. After spells at Unilever, Guinness, Laura Ashley, and Burton Group, he was appointed to the Board of Tesco plc in 1997. He spent 15 years on the Board when the group successfully expanded to become the world’s No.3 retailer.
Since retirement from Tesco, Mr. Higginson has been highly active in the consumer arena, holding senior board positions at several FTSE 100 and 250 companies. He is currently Chairman of Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc and N Brown Group plc; a Non -Executive director of Woolworths in South Africa and an adviser to Warburg Pincus LLP. He has previously served as a Senior Non-Executive Director of BskyB plc and as a member of the Rugby Football Union’s Board.
