Applegreen plc – Director Placing
Shore Capital is delighted to have placed £23m of shares in Applegreen plc for the founders of the business. Applegreen plc is a major petrol forecourt retailer in the Republic of Ireland with a growing presence in the United Kingdom and the United States. Shore Capital acted as Joint Bookrunner to the placing of 6,000,000 existing ordinary shares at a price of at 4.50 Euros or 383 pence per share which was a c.38 per cent. premium to the IPO price of 277 pence in June 2015. The placing was oversubscribed.
